Every year, on the last weekend in September, the island's only honey day takes place in the small village of MURZO, inland from Ajaccio, in the "deux Sorru" region.
"MELE IN FESTA" is the showcase for Corsican honey (an AOC product) and its by-products. The event takes place in the streets of the village, where all the island's handicrafts are also on display.
The hospitality of the villagers will delight you with all their local specialities. In Murzo, you can also enjoy a swim or a spot of fishing on the Liamone, visit the picturesque hamlet of Muna and discover the Sposata mountain...
