From 24 September To 27 September
Our boat sets sail again for the land of Ireland.
A nostra barca piglia u mare per andà versu à A surella Irlanda.
Corsica and Ireland are two islands with strong identities. Through their culture, history and landscapes, they have always sought to strike a balance between their deep roots and their openness to the world.
For the islands are not isolated territories. From time immemorial, they have lived to the rhythm of exchanges. The sea is not just a border: it's also a link. Corsica is in dialogue with the Mediterranean, while Ireland is open to the Atlantic and its vast diaspora. This openness has shaped rich cultures, where traditions and outside influences meet.
Culture is at the heart of this relationship. The Corsican and Gaelic languages are now enjoying a new lease of life. Music and song, from Corsican polyphony to traditional Irish melodies, tell the story of these peoples and pass on their memories. Dance, festivals and folk art are all part of this collective energy.
Cinema and sport are also part of this cultural expression, telling the story of the landscapes, passions and values of these regions: solidarity, pride and sharing.
ISULIMONDI 2026 offers a meeting between Corsica and Ireland, between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. Music, dance, sport, cinema and the arts invite you to discover what it means to live on an island today: staying true to your roots while remaining open to the world. Because the sea is not a barrier: it's a link.
All aboard for a unique, warm and festive voyage!
Our skiff is changing course!
From 24 to 27 September 2026, the Isulimondi Festival will be opening a new chapter by moving to the heart of Ajaccio, in the Cité Grossetti. This new venue will be an opportunity to cross paths, share ideas and welcome the public as close as possible to life in Ajaccio.
