Presentation

It is one of the largest communes in Castagniccia (491ha) where chestnut forests and olive groves sit side by side. Clinging to their rocky perches, its houses lean out over the edge of the gorge and give you vertigo. A grandiose landscape that is overlooked by the mountains of San Pedrone, Sant?Angelo and the St Georges cliffs. The Santa Maria Nunciata parish church dates from the 17th century and flanks the flower filled and shaded square. 350m north you will find the splendid antique fountain-washhouse that has been faithfully restored. The departmental road serves the village and provides access throughout the year to motorcycle clubs and classic car clubs that often visit.
