Presentation
Situated in the west of the Sartène region, this little village overlooks the small Bisujè valley which has been inhabited since prehistoric times. You?ll be struck by the tranquil atmosphere of this small hill-top village surrounded by mountains. Not to be missed: standing on a rocky spur at an altitude of 361m, the Castello d?Alo-Bisujè has yielded fragments of menhirs, millstones and pottery dating from the second millennium BC. Today, the foundations of prehistoric huts can be seen dotting the site around this imposing circular monument.
