The commune, situated at the southern exit of the Gulf of Valinco, is striking for its beautiful white sandy beach. The old fishing port has retained its authentic feel and provides an excellent sheltered harbour where numerous boats are anchored throughout the year. You?ll enjoy the walk along the natural bay, following the beach and seafront along a marked path, while the village square will delight you with its charming small chapel and maze of old buildings. The Genoese tower of Campomoro (a listed historic monument) is a must! One of the main sights of the Valinco, its star-shaped walls and the view which it offers of the bay and beyond towards Ajaccio are truly unforgettable. Open April to September (3.50 euros). Walk along the coast and its footpaths to the Natura 2000 coastal nature reserve administered by the Conservatoire du Littoral association.
