In the XVIII century, The Virgin Mary was said to have appeared to a lost young girl who had stopped to drink. She made water spring forth and a source appeared. Thanks to this miracle, the locals built a church near to the spring. A route of crosses leads right up to this spot where the procession on 8th September brings a great many worshippers together.
