CHIATRA DI VERDE - Pitctureesque... Situated not far from the plain, Chiatra, one of the oldest villages in Corsica, is bursting with a varied heritage where two eras, ancient and contemporary, take turns to set the tone for your visit. In the old part of the village, discover three Genoese towers and enjoy two panoramic views. On one side, Chiatra overlooks the dam of Alesani Lake and, on the other side, Mont Oppido and the plain stretch right out to the sea. In the modern part, visit and find refreshment at the different fountains dotted around the village.
