Presentation

The village church is the Église Saint-Thomas, founded in 1269 by Andrea Malaspina. Surrounded by arcades and alleyways, the church houses a 16C painted panel depicting the Madonna and Child, a 17C font, and a marble statue of Saint Anthony the Abbot, found in Lozari. It is said that this statue, coveted by several communes, was loaded onto a cart drawn by oxen and given to the first village where the oxen chose to stop.
