Constructed by the Genoese, this bridge links the village of Ghisoni to the village of Poggio de Nazza. The Mela bridge is located close to the old mine at a place known as Finosa, and it links the Fium´orbu to the place known as Paganello. The former mine of Finosa opened in 1912 and closed after the Second World War. It produced lead, silver, manganese and iron. Most of the quarrying at Finosa was carried out in the open air. The ruins of the crushing plant are still there.
