Presentation

Situated on the Cours Napoléon, the Palais Lantivy is surrounded by a beautiful garden and is now the headquarters of the préfecture. The first stone of the Palais Lantivy was laid in 1826. The plans were drawn up by Alphonse-Henri de Gisors (1796-1866) in accordance with the neo-Classical taste of the time. The palace is surrounded by a pretty garden planted with a whole host of Mediterranean and tropical plants, most notably palm and citron trees. The glass extension dates from the early 1990s.
