Presentation
The stones of the village of "Francolaccia" served in the constriction of Piazzole. A lack of water and an infestation of fumiguloni (large black ants), were the causes of this move. The church of Piazzole is of particular interest: its door, made with chestnut wood, was sculpted with a knife by a repentant bandit who hid in the belfry.
