Presentation
Situated halfway between Ajaccio and Propriano, this commune comprises the villages of Pila and Canale. Not to be missed: Église San Pancraziu (St Pancrace); the many picturesque narrow streets lined with imposing granite houses shaded by plane and sweet chestnut trees; colourful olive groves; and the prehistoric site of Castedducciu-Calzola surrounded by huts made from thousand-year-old rocks.
