This open-air museum, located on a tabular plateau, brings together the remains corresponding to the centre of the ancient city: a pre-Roman necropolis (200 tombs have been unearthed) and part of the ancient Roman city (Forum, Temple, Capitol, etc.). The objects discovered during the excavations can be seen at the Jérôme Carcopino Museum. Listed as a Historical Monument on 18/12/90.
Opening times: - From 16 May to 30 September: 10am-6pm every day - From 1 October to 15 May: 9am-5pm except Sundays.
Closed on: 1 January, 1 May, 1 and 11 November and 24, 25 and 31 December.
Visitors are no longer admitted 1/2 hour before the site closes.
