Presentation
The Orchinu tower, situated on a secondary summit of the Erbaghiolu peninsula, has two gaping holes - unless it's restored soon, the tower is likely to collapse. With an altitude difference of 170m, the walk here from Chiuni beach is not too long - as long as you can find the actual path to the tower, which doesn't seem to be used very often. From the tower itself, five other towers can be seen: Turghui to the north, and Omigna, Cargèese, Capu di Fenu and Castelluciu (on the Îles Sanguinaires) to the south.
