Several routes lead to the Tour de Capannelle, from Serra di Ferro, Cupabia beach or Porto Pollo. We've chosen the last option, which also allows visitors to discover the Genoese tower of Capriona. The best option is to combine this walk with some time on the superb Cupabia beach. Although only situated midway up the Punta Contra Grossa, the platform where the tower stands is very interesting. The machicolations are in poor condition, which gives the tower an unusual appearance from certain angles.
