Presentation
Situated on the Isolella peninsula near the Punta di Sette Nave, this Genoese tower is a magnificent viewpoint offering a panorama which encompasses the delightful coves of the peninsula itself, as well as the whole of the Golfe d'Ajaccio. A well-maintained path, barely 500m long, makes the tower easily accessible. The tower was restored in 1970 and as a result is in perfect condition. Note the red brick string-course, the machicolations and the putlog holes which once held the end of the beams supporting the floorboards.
