Presentation
Halfway between Sartène and Bonifacio, the Tour de Roccapina was built at the beginning of the 17C by Giovanni de Cauro, who also built the Tour de Senetosa. Lower than the previous tower, at a height of 8m, this tower is also more damaged. Two holes have destabilised the building and numerous blocks of stone lie on the ground. Overlooking Roccapina beach, the tower can be seen from the N196 and can be accessed on foot (caution required).
