Presentation
Surrounded by a maquis with its variety of fragrant aromas, next to a forest of scented pines, this little village is unusual in that it is surrounded by "sapare" (grottos). The home village of Martinu Appinzapalu, priest Dominique Carlotti (1877 - 1848), poet and lexicographer and grammarian of the Corsican language. A stroll through this village gives you the chance to visit their homes. A great many artists will also be happy to welcome you.
