Presentation
The Diana Pond is famous for its oyster production that dates back to antiquity, when its oysters were sent all the way back to Rome. The flesh of the molluscs was treated with salt in the amphorae and, over time, the accumulation of shells ended up creating little isles. Nowadays, the seafood that is produced by the 3 main activities at the pond (fishing, aquaculture and shellfish breeding) is enjoyed on the banks of the pond, in the establishments of the various producers.
