La Gravona is one of two torrents with the Prunelli that originate under Monte Renoso. La Gravona offers beautiful natural pools or small pools where it is very pleasant to bathe in cool water, especially in hot weather in the shade of large trees. Access: From Ajaccio, take the N193 towards Bastia and turn around 1 km after the turtle park on the D129. After 250 m, you reach the Carbuccia bridge where you park the car. Path on foot: Before the bridge, a path descends on the right side to the bathing place. A word of advice: avoid swimming in the river on thunderstorms because floods can be very sudden. Ditto for windy days due to the risk of fire.
