The Lac du Rotondo (also known as the Lac de Bettaniella or the Lavu Bellebone [1]) lies in the Rotondo mountains, as its name suggests. This Corsican lake is of glacial origins and does not flow into any river. Glacial in origin, this lake faces south-east and is frozen for around seven months of the year.
