Founded in 1872, the famous Mattei house is one of the oldest boutiques in Corsica, its facade is currently being classified as a Bâtiment de France.
It is the most legendary boutique in Bastia, the star of its windows is none other than Cap Corse, the legendary homemade aperitif made from cinchona, recognizable by its beautiful retro label. the house also offers a very fine selection of island products: great Corsican wines, traditional charcuterie, farm cheese, olive oils, honey and other cakes are there to delight the most demanding customers.
