Jean-Baptiste Lucchini, a breeder and producer of PDO charcuterie, has taken up residence in an old cellar in Bonifacio to sell his products.
In Rue Saint Dominique, a small olive tree and a sober sign point the way. And what a way it is! A small staircase that literally plunges you into the heart of the town and into the secret of the owner's products.
The charcuterie here is homemade. Ancestral know-how handed down from generation to generation, producing patiently matured hams, hazelnut-flavoured sausages and fragrant terrines. The olive oil is also the owner's own.
And to complete the range of products on offer, Jean-Baptiste Lucchini offers produce from small farms located between Sartène and Bonifacio. These include canistrelli, cheeses, wines, liqueurs, jams and chestnut flour.
