Discover the "discovery dives"
The discovery takes place in the heart of the International Marine Park of the extreme South of Corsica, around the archipelago of the Cerbicale Islands.
Located only about fifteen minutes by boat from Palombaggia Beach, the nature reserve, rich in fauna and flora, is a privileged place to explore the underwater world. The islands allow us to find different depths to learn about scuba diving or snorkeling.
Many rock fish as well as dentex, groupers, barracudas are common encounters during your first dive.
-Introduction to diving in the Islands:
This first dive takes place in a shallow cove. You will first practice breathing on the surface before submerging yourself. The depths can vary from 1 to 3 m for a child and up to a maximum of 6 m for an adult. The depth varies depending on the person's experience (swimmer or non-swimmer, having apprehensions or not...). The instructor will adapt the baptism to each person, depending on your experience, your ease and your feelings... After your baptism of diving you will be able to continue to discover the seabed from the surface by free snorkeling with fins, mask and snorkel. The outing lasts 2h30. The duration of the baptism of diving with scuba gear is about twenty minutes.
-Beginner diving/discovery class:
Ideal for diving together with a loved one and for longer. The Discovery Class is a unique experience in two stages during the same outing. A first immersion one by one of 5 to 10 minutes to acclimatize you with the environment then a second immersion always supervised by your instructor who will accompany you in a longer dive with your spouse, your loved ones, ... After your Discovery Class, you will be able to continue to discover the seabed from the surface by free snorkeling with fins, mask and snorkel. The outing lasts 2h30. The total duration of your scuba dive will be 40 minutes.
-Snorkeling:
This is the opportunity to discover with your family the Cerbicale Islands Nature Reserve and the seabed from the surface during an afternoon on the islands. The activity is free but supervised by an instructor. This activity is possible following a BAPTISM dive or a DISCOVERY CLASS, at no extra charge.
Conditions to enjoy your discovery
Minimum age 8 years.
Parental authorization for minors.
Can be done without a medical certificate.
