Day 1: Corte - Tavignanu gorges

Meet at Ajaccio railway station in the early morning. Transfer to Corte. This first day includes a hike along the Tavignanu (swimming in summer) and a visit to the historic capital. Overnight in Albertacce, Calacuccia or Corte.

Day 2: Niolu - Vergio On the transhumance paths

Near the lake for a short while, the path quickly leaves the last dwellings to climb up to the Verghju pass (1477m), the other gateway to Niolu. The island's highest peaks will be with you all day. Overnight at the Col de Vergio.

Day 3: Vergio - Vergio Le Lac de Ninu (North)

In the heart of the volcanic Paglia Orba massif, you climb back up to the source of the Golu and enter the world of the high mountains. Stop off at the sheepfolds and swim under the Radule waterfalls.

Day 4: Vergio - Vergio Le Lac de Ninu (South)

Set off to discover Lake Ninu: set in its grassy setting, it is the most beautiful reward a hiker can dream of. End of your Mare e Mare - pick up your trekking bags and hand over your bikes for the start of your bike crossing the next day - overnight in Vergio.

Day 5: Vergio - Vico

Your stage begins with a descent through the Spelunca gorges. Then come the emblematic pines of the Aïtone forest. In the distance, views of the Gulf of Porto. You then branch off onto a wild little road that takes you past the beautiful villages of Cristinacce and Renno.

Day 6: Vico - Pevani

Today's stage is absolutely magnificent, with a peaceful road and an incredible sea crossing. Today you leave the mountains for the seaside, passing by the river. You could say that the stage is complete.

Day 7: Pevani - Ajaccio

You'll ride along the coast before reaching Ajaccio, which will mark the end of your cycling adventure. And the end of a fabulous hybrid holiday that we're sure will leave you with lasting memories.
