The GR20 X GT20 Hybrid Crossing with Cycling Corsica

The GR20 X GT20 Hybrid Crossing in 10 days is a brand new concept. This route is a perfect blend of cycling adventure and mountain trekking. From Calvi to Calenzana, you'll cross Corsica from north to south, combining two legendary itineraries listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the GT20 for the cycling section and the GR20 for the southern section on foot.

YOUR ITINERARY DAY BY DAY

Day 1: Calvi - Galeria
40 km (25 miles)
350 m
Discover this very wild part of the coast. The views are magnificent all the way. The road can be rough in places - if you're on a road bike, try the Col de Marsolinu and its magnificent view over the Calvais region.

Day 2: Galeria - Porto
50 km (31 miles)
700 m
The road takes us to Corsica's rich western coastline. At the Col de Palmarella, one of the most beautiful panoramas of our stay awaits us.

Day 3: Porto - Calacuccia
60 kilometres
1610 m
Climb the Col de Vergio and the magnificent Spelunca Gorge! Discover the Niolu region, with Monte Cintu and Paglia Orba on the horizon.

Day 4: Calacuccia - Asco
67 kilometres
1590 m
Descend to the Scala di Santa Regina, a spectacular pass where the sheer cliffs and imposing landscapes plunge you into the wild soul of Corsica. Then an ascent into the magnificent Asco valley, a veritable natural jewel. Transition day GT20 - GR20 - collection of bikes and handover of your trekking bags - overnight in Asco.

Day 5: Asco - Carozzu
4h
640 m
The Asco - Carozzu stage of the GR20 is short but very technical, with steep gradients and exposed rocky sections. It offers superb panoramic views, particularly of the Asco valley and the surrounding peaks.

Day 6: Carozzu - Ortu
7h20
950 m
The Carozzu - Ortu di u Piobbu stage is long and demanding, especially with the climb up to the Spasimata and its aerial footbridges. The views of the ridges and the sea are well worth the effort.

Day 7: Ortu - Calenzana
6h15
250 m
The Ortu di u Piobbu - Calenzana stage marks the end of the GR20 north, with a long descent that is often hot and rocky. It offers beautiful views of the Balagne and the sea as you approach the village.

In both cases (GT20 and GR20) our tours are packages. Any services not included in the package, either individually or collectively (transfers, accommodation, meals, etc.) cannot be reimbursed or exchanged.
