Marseille
Founded by Phocaeans in 600 BC, Marseille is France’s oldest city. Since then it has become home to people from across Europe and North Africa, creating a diverse and vibrant culture. The relaxed port, ancient Le Panier neighbourhood and lively streets create a unique atmosphere not to be missed, plus beyond the old port is the Plage des Catalans, a great city beach with fabulous sunsets.

Cassis
This colourful port town, just east of Marseille, has a laid-back seaside ambience and great beaches. It’s home to cobbled squares, pretty boats, lively cafes and, most importantly, it's the gateway to the rocky, coastal Calanques National Park.

Cassis Nice
Make your way to the station for the showstopping journey to Nice. Wind along the Côte d'Azur past sweeping vineyards at Bandol, thick forests of the Massif de Maures and the rugged coves of the Esterel mountains just beyond Saint-Raphaël.

Bastia
France's second largest port city, Bastia has a big city feel and rich maritime history, with an authentic charm that feels significantly more lived in than many of the neighbouring seaside towns.
